For the seventh successive year, Hertfordshire based Camping Travel Store celebrates winning prestigious national camping awards in the 2023 Tent Owners Satisfaction Survey presented by The Camping & Caravanning Club.

Camping Travel Store has been representing the Dutch tent manufacturer Karsten Tenten for the past 13 years in the UK. Their showroom in Melbourn, Hertfordshire showcases all the models available with a permanent indoor display and large outdoor display from the Spring. Karsten Tents have been manufactured since 1981 using a unique high-pressure inflation system and are made from sustainably produced 100% Cotton Canvas. They have a modular approach to their design, meaning that you can take what you need whether having a weekend camp or a fortnight holiday.

Celebrity comedian Jed Stone was on hand to present the awards at The Silverstone Race Circuit on the evening of 8th December. As in previous years, winners were crowned based entirely on the feedback given by thousands of Club and non-club members, who completed the 2023 Owner Satisfaction Survey.

Karsten Tenten, represented in the UK by Camping Travel Store was awarded Best Inflatable Tube Tent and Best Premium Tent in this year’s awards, repeating their success over the previous 5 consecutive years  in the same categories for their Karsten Tent range.

 

A total of 23 awards were presented at the ceremony, which is run by The Camping and Caravanning Club in partnership with Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines.

Rob Ganley, Editor-in-Chief of Camping & Caravanning, the official magazine of the Camping and Caravanning Club, said: “The Owner Satisfaction Awards have huge value for Club members. More than 11,000 campers have taken the time to tell us in great depth how their unit has fared in the field this year. The findings are an essential read for anyone planning to buy their next camping unit in the year ahead.”

League tables for each unit type were drawn up in each category, with brands earning the highest satisfaction ratings according to respondents to the survey crowned as winners.

 

Camping Travel Store scored 99% Customer Satisfaction Rating in both categories proving that their range of ‘Once revolutionary inflatable tents is still the best’.
